KIRI~MIST mulai terbentuk waktu dua orang fans MONORAL gak sengaja bertemu di “MONORAL blog” tanggal 8 Mei 2009. Karena sama-sama penasaran gak ada yang mulai bikin MONORAL Street Team di Indonesia, akhirnya dua-duanya memutuskan buat mendirikan MONORAL Indonesia Street Team lewat media MySpace, facebook, dan blog buat ngumpulin fans MONORAL di Indonesia.
Syukur-syukur kalo bisa nambah ngeracunin orang buat ikutan suka.
Kenapa sih street team pakai “KIRI” di depan namanya?
Alasannya simple aja sih; Kiri kan lagu MONORAL yang membawa band ini makin dikenal ke penjuru dunia. Kebetulan judul lagu ini punya arti yang sama dengan singkatan MONORAL Indonesia Street Team (MIST), jadilah nama KIRI ditambahkan di depan. *kabur karna berasa garing sendiri*
Apa sih untungnya gabung di KIRI~MIST?
Yang pasti kenalan bakalan tambah banyak dan memperluas jaringan tukar info (dan barang). Sekedar kumpul-kumpul atau rame-rame karaoke lagu Visions in My Head di Doremido (cuman 1 lagu itu sih di seluruh karaoke yang ada di Indo, tapi ini udah bagus, kan)?
Meracun temen sekolah/kuliah/kerja sama lagu-lagu MONORAL juga OK.
Ato.... ngedatangin MONORAL ke Indonesia? Kita liat entar saja. Anything is POSSIBLE, right?

This street team started to establish as two MONORAL fans found each other at MONORAL’s official blog on one lazy Friday. Triggered by the want to find more Indonesians who love the band, the two decided to start Monoral Indonesia Street Team and made their ways in MySpace, Facebook (because more Indonesians lurk here than at MS), and a blog.
But what’s with Kiri?
Lame reason is that when you abbreviate MONORAL Indonesia Street Team, you’ll get MIST, which is the meaning of the respective song. But one can’t deny that this song is indeed the one that introduce MONORAL to the world.
Now you’re asking what’s the benefit of joining KIRI~MIST?
Nothing… unless you love to get more friends to talk about MONORAL, order albums together to reduce shipping cost, hang out virtually and in real world. Maybe singing Visions in My Head at Doremido (hey, at least there’s one karaoke house that has at least one Monoral song in Indonesia).
Promote MONORAL to any of your friends, families, schoolmates, coworkers, even enemies? That’s GOOD!
Or maybe….. get to see MONORAL live? Here in Indonesia? Who knows? We’ll see what we all can do.
